The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for all new orders (enteral sales) within their specified territory. The AE must be able to use strategy, relationships, hard work, and follow through in order to accomplish monthly and quarterly sales objectives. Target markets include but are not limited to hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and managed care organizations. The AE must be able to communicate, sell, work in a team, be accountable, identify and solve problems, understand the enteral nutrition industry, and lastly provide clinical and business acumen to their position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth in existing markets to meet or exceed sales quota for new referrals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics and other referral sources in the medical community
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Interface with Operations team to assist with completion of intake of new patients; resolve patient/customer complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action with Operations
  • Ensure work being performed meets internal and external compliance requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field
  • 3-5 years sales experience; Previous experience in healthcare services a plus
  • Ability to plan, organize, analyze and establish priorities to achieve results
  • Excellent business communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Motivated and self-driven, with a proven history of success in sales
